A stunning and rarely found table which boasting one of the most decoratively designed tops you could wish to find for a table of this size and period. Originating in the Regency period at the start of the 19th century, it is clear this table has been as loved and cherished by its owners as much as it was by the craftsmen who made it.

It is very sturdy, due to the quality of the timber used throughout and the overall construction. In fact it is surprising just how heavy it is when picking it up and moving it, which once again demonstrates the fantastic overall quality.

There is some excellent carved decoration throughout and the panelled support column is also a great sign of quality, exuding regency charm, class and sophistication. The paw feet are a particularly nice feature and the lovely top speaks for itself of course.

Perfect for a wide variety of different spaces around the home, or possibly even in a hotel lobby, this table has clearly been loved and cherished throughout its life, whilst also being very much functional and well used, which is a fact we don’t expect to change any time in the future.

As with all items which we offer for sale this centre table has been attended to in our workshops by our highly skilled, trained, traditonal antique furniture restorers and received a natural wax polish before being offered for sale. This has ensured it is presented in excellent, functional condition.
