A Very Good Quality Georgian, Chippendale Period, Mahogany Side Table Of Serpentine Form, Having Well Figured Top And Long Frieze Drawer With Original Brass Handles, Raised On Elegant Square Chamfered And Moulded Legs.

This beautiful 18th Century Serpentine Side Table is a great example of Georgian practicality and elegance, combined with great form and function.

It retains an excellent colour and patina which compliments the excellent choice of figured timber which was used for it’s construction. The serpentine shape of course adds further elegance and sophistication and it really would be a great solution to a whole host of different spots around both the home and office.

Clearly it has been well loved and looked after throughout the years of its life as it remains in excellent condition and retains original brass handles.

As with all items we offer for sale it has been attended to in our workshops by our skilled antique furniture restorers, where it has received a general clean, tidy and natural wax polish before being offered for sale.

If you find that you are seriously interested in one, or a number of items, of our stock but unsure whether it will sit right in that alcove, or whether or colour will work with that chest of drawers already in place, then we may be able to help….

We have vans regularly on the road throughout mainland England and where practical and realistically possible are always pleased to offer prospective clients our approval service. Where possible we will not charge to bring the item/s out to you and place them in position in your home then take them away again should you choose not to purchase them. On some occasions there may be a nominal charge to cover the cost of our approval service, but this will always be discussed and explained to you in advance of our visit.

Please make it very clear when enquiring about an item, or items, if you intend to use the approval service as it must be agreed with us in advance of any further discussions re delivery timescales etc.
