A Very Good Quality And Very Attractive 18th Century George III Period Mahogany Occasional Wine Table, Or Lamp Table, Having Superbly Figured Circular Top Of Attractive Faded Colour, Raised On Elegant Vase Turned Central Column, Terminating On Umbrella Tripod Legs With Scribed Decoration And Original Block Feet.

Just how one would wish to find a genuine 18th century occasional table, this item is constructed from rich, highly figured mahogany timbers, resulting in an incredibly elegant and useful little piece. Because of the high grade mahogany timber which was used for its construction it also retains a lovely faded colour and surface. There are of course a few old marks blemishes to the top but these all add to its history and are something which it would be impossible to lose without taking away the lovely surface which has been built up over hundreds of years.

The table also boasts a very elegant column, again from rich timbers and a very elegant base with the umbrella tripod legs boasting attractive scribed decoration.

In terms of function and places one could use it then the possibilities are endless. With a practical, well figured top which is a great size it would suit a whole host of spaces around the home and also it is worth noting that the table is relatively sturdy.
