A very good quality Victorian burr walnut kidney
Shaped library table having attractive pierced brass gallery
To superbly figured top raised on elegant carved end
Supports united by turned central cross stretcher
(A good quality and elegant table which is a good functional
size and can be used in both a central standing environment
as well as against a wall depending on the purchasers
requirements. The original brass gallery is a quite exceptional
example and along with the highly figured timber which has
been used indicates that this piece would initially have been
made by a top end workshop of the time.)
