An attractive George III period satinwood oblong tea
caddy having original inlaid decoration and original
foil lined interior.

(Tea was a precious commodity in the 18th century and
tea caddies were used to both preserve the tea leaves,
but also to lock it away and protect it from any wandering
hands. This particular example is attractive a nice touch
is the original inlay decoration. It also comes supplied with
a fully operational key.)
