A Very Good Quality Late 18th Century, Georgian, Mahogany Chest, Of Elegant Serpentine Form, Having Well Figured Shaped Top Over Brushing Slide And Four Long Drawers, Retaining Original Brass Swan Neck Handles And Raised On Original Shaped Bracket Feet.

An extremely good quality and elegant georgian mahogany seprentine chest, which boasts a good, bold serpentine shape. It is also constructed from good quality mahogany timbers and has real presence to it.

Quite unusually for an item from this period it retains original brass swan neck handles as well as its original shaped bracket feet, both of which are really great features. Overall the condition is also good, one would imagine a result of many years of being cherished and loved and looked after.

The overall quality of the construction, in combination with the elegant, attractive form mean that this chest is absolutely perfect for a whole host of spaces around the home, or even office.

As with all items which we offer for sale this georgian serpentine chest of drawers is in good, retail condition, having been inspected in our workshops by our highly skilled, trained antique furniture restorers and received a natural wax polish before being offered for sale.

We have vans regularly on the road throughout mainland England and where practical and realistically possible are always pleased to offer prospective clients our approval service. Where possible we will not charge to bring the item/s out to you and place them in position in your home then take them away again should you choose not to purchase them. On some occasions there may be a nominal charge to cover the cost of our approval service, but this will always be discussed and explained to you in advance of our visit.

Please make it very clear when enquiring about an item, or items, if you intend to use the approval service as it must be agreed with us in advance of any further discussions re delivery timescales etc.
