A fine quality regency period mahogany desktop
Book stand having elegant spindle turned upright
Supports and scrolling ends to gallery incorporating
Handles above beaded moulding and original
Turned feet.
(Originally designed to sit on top of a desk and house
a selection of books which can then be easily accessed
this charming book Stand is of exceptional quality. It is also
a really good size allowing more practical use than many
we have seen. The spindle turnings to the gallery are
extremely Fine and the choice of mahogany high end with
a lovely patina and figuring to it. It also retains its original
turned feet and would be a wonderful addition to any desk).

unsure whether it will sit right in that alcove, or whether or colour will work with that chest
of drawers already in place, then we may be able to help….
We have vans regularly on the road throughout mainland England and where practical and realistically possible are always pleased to offer prospective clients our approval service. Where possible we will not charge to bring the item/s out to you and place them in position in your home then take them away again should you choose not to purchase them. On some occasions there may be a nominal charge to cover the cost of our approval service, but this will always be discussed and explained to you in advance of our visit.
Please make it very clear when enquiring about an item, or items, if you intend to use the approval service as it must be agreed with us in advance of any further discussions re delivery timescales etc.
