A very attractive late Regency period gilt overmantle
Mirror of large proportion having original mirror plate
Bordered by half turned columns with elegant carved
Decoration
(This attractive mirror is Regency, not Victorian like many large
examples that you see. The quality and execution is excellent and
it is a most unusual, useful size. Most Regency and earlier mirrors
are either tall and narrow, or low and wide, whereas this is perfect
to Stand above most mantelpieces in most sized rooms adding depth
and perspective. The condition is very good for its age and the mirror
plate is almost certainly original with various signs of wear, but very
much still functional and fit for purpose)

Where possible we will not charge to bring the item/s out to you and place them in position in your home then take them away again should you choose not to purchase them. On some occasions there may be a nominal charge to cover the cost of our approval service, but this will always be discussed and explained to you in advance of our visit.
