bookcase having attractive shaped cornice with

over three long drawers to base raised on
original shaped bracket feet
(Miniature furniture is always very popular and this is
no exception with its charming looks and proportion. There
is often a debate over whether miniature furniture was made
as an apprentice piece, which is where a somebody looking
for a job in a workshop would create something to showcase
their talents, or whether it was made as a travelling salesman
sample piece, which is where the a few articles were made as
scale models in advance which the salesman could then take
away and travel the country with to show prospective clients
the kind of items they could produce back at the workshop and
take orders from. This is almost certainly a sample piece due to the
use of expensive materials and overall quality and construction.).
