A superb quality George III period mahogany writing
Table of diminutive proportion having replaced inset
Gilt tooled leather top and writing slide above one
Long drawer and false drawer to front, one drawer and
One false drawer to each end and false drawers to reverse
Retaining original brass handles raised on elegant
Square tapered legs.
(This writing table is a particularly small, but still useful size
with the added extra of another leather writing surface in terms
of the slide. It has an extremely unusual drawer configuration
which works well and is both elegant as well as practical. The fact
that there are no active drawers on the reverse, just false drawers
of course that it just as easily be used against a wall as it could be
in the centre of a room).

Where possible we will not charge to bring the item/s out to you and place them in position in your home then take them away again should you choose not to purchase them. On some occasions there may be a nominal charge to cover the cost of our approval service, but this will always be discussed and explained to you in advance of our visit.
