(This fabulous quality and useful piece of furniture
would add both a touch of elegance and class to any
room of the house. The birds eye maple wood which
it is constructed from has a wonderful decorative but
mellow feel to it and the overall dimensions are
incredibly practical for use as a side table, coffee table
or similar. It would even make an unusual but fabulous
drinks trolley. The word Étagère is derived from the
French word for a set of open freestanding shelves at
the time and although in England the terms Whatnot
was much more common, the two phrases are pretty
much always intermingled with each other these days
as the English term Whatnot now often suggests a
overall much larger item of furniture.)

If you find that you are seriously interested in one, or a number of items, of our stock but unsure whether it will sit right in that alcove, or whether or colour will work with that chest of drawers already in place, then we may be able to help….

We have vans regularly on the road throughout mainland England and where practical and realistically possible are always pleased to offer prospective clients our approval service. Where possible we will not charge to bring the item/s out to you and place them in position in your home then take them away again should you choose not to purchase them. On some occasions there may be a nominal charge to cover the cost of our approval service, but this will always be discussed and explained to you in advance of our visit.

Please make it very clear when enquiring about an item, or items, if you intend to use the approval service as it must be agreed with us in advance of any further discussions re delivery timescales etc.
