A fine quality regency period mahogany miniature
breakfast table having superbly figured circular tilting
top over turned column and elegant four splay base
with original brass castors
(Owing to the quality of its construction and the high end
timbers that have been used this particular piece of
miniature furniture was almost certainly made originally
as a travelling salesman’s sample piece. It would have been
constructed as a scale replica of the full size versions the
workshop was producing at the time and dispatched in the
horse and cart with the salesman for a few months and used
to take orders for full size versions from.).
