(W Constantine & Co was one of the most well known
cabinet making, house fitting & decoration, carving
and upholstery firms in Leeds throughout the mid 19th
century. Their products became a byword for quality,
at house sales, furniture by W Constantine and Co. was
always expected to command high prices. This stool is a
useful, functional size and retains a needlework upholstered
cover which may possibly be original, but we cannot be
sure of this. Overall the condition is good and sound and
it is ready for immediate use.)
